The Complex Care Runcorn Team, is an adult social work team, responsible for the Long Term delivery of Care Management, for Adults over the age of 18 years.
Halton Borough council’s expectations are high and you will need a strong commitment to providing first class person centred care to Halton residents over 18 and support to their carers. You will be passionate about working with a range of service user groups (older people, adults with learning disabilities and adults with physical and sensory difficulties, challenging discrimination whilst promoting independence.
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent position for an Advanced Practitioner within the team. The role will include, working with a small group of highly complex individuals/situations. You will provide wider progression support and supervision to team members. Provide support to the Principal and Practice manager and will link in and cascade the priorities of the Principal Social Worker.
You will have a recognised professional qualification Dip SW, Degree or equivalent, good interpersonal and communication skills, You will be an experienced Social Worker, with a flexible approach and a willingness to continually improve your practice; in addition you must hold a full driving licence.
You will receive a car user allowance and a flexible working week. You will receive up to 33 days annual leave per annum and a commitment to your on-going professional development.
