An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Active Halton as a part-time Leisure Attendant.

We are seeking a qualified National Pool Lifeguard to join our team in a permanent role, working mainly evenings and weekends at Kingsway Leisure Centre. You will hold a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the rules and regulations that apply in a leisure facility.

Working pattern type: 17 hours

Thursday

16.00-21.30

Saturday

10.30-18.00

Sunday

9.30-14.00

You will be responsible for the safe supervision of our public swimming pools, and ensuring high levels of cleanliness are achieved throughout our busy Leisure Centre. You will also assist the Operations Manager in ensuring the smooth day-to day operation of all facilities.

With a passion for helping people, you'll demonstrate excellent customer service and will be an effective communicator. Supervising our pools, you will offer help and support with all swimming pool queries, emergency response and providing full building support in relation to cleaning and equipment set up’s.

With the ability to educate bathers and customers in all areas of our service, you will be calm and confident under pressure and will have a good eye for detail. You'll be a team player but also able to use your initiative. We want you to be the best you can be, so we promise to support you with training and career development.
