Housing Solutions Advisor
The Housing Solutions Team are looking to recruit an experienced Housing Solutions Advisor.
The service is responsible for the administration of the Local Authority statutory requirements across homelessness. The duties will include dealing with the public, processing homeless applications, using IT software and dealing with all general enquiries. Experience within housing and knowledge of the homeless legislation is essential.
For this post we are looking for an experienced dynamic individual, who will be able to provide advice on a wide range of issues such as statutory homelessness, relationship breakdown, mortgage arrears, and landlord and tenant problems. As the successful applicant you must therefore be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the legislation relevant to this areas of work.

The role will involve regular travel across the borough and sometimes further afield. Therefore, the post holder must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Where necessary, reasonable adjustments will be made in accordance with the Equality Act.
