About the role/service

To assist with carrying out the statutory functions of the council within the specialist area of the contaminated land. In particular, to assist with the implementation of the council's contaminated land inspection strategy, by providing expertise in the scientific and technical aspects of land contamination and remediation.

About you

You will be required to have knowledge of the legislation, guidance and practice in relation to contaminated land, including graphical databases, risk assessment and remediation. The ability to understand and analyse technical matters and a willingness to continue to develop IT skills
