The Complex Care Runcorn Team, is an adult social work team, responsible for the Long Term delivery of person centred support and an asset based care planning for Adults over the age of 18 years. We currently have 3 vacancies available for 37 hours, 33 hours, and 18.5 hours*.
Halton Borough council’s expectations are high and you will need a strong commitment to providing first class person centred care to Halton residents over 18 and support to their carers. You will be passionate about working with a range of service user groups (older people, adults with learning disabilities and adults with physical and sensory difficulties, challenging discrimination whilst promoting independence.
You will have a recognised professional qualification Dip SW or equivalent, good interpersonal and communication skills a flexible approach and a willingness to continually improve your practice; in addition you must hold a full driving licence.
You will receive a car user allowance and a flexible working week. You will receive up to 33 days annual leave per annum and a commitment to your on-going professional development through our Social Worker Progression Policy**.
