Principal Performance and Improvement Officer
Halton Borough Council is looking to recruit a Principal Performance and Improvement Officer to its Policy, Provision and Performance Division within the People Directorate. The successful candidate will provide specialist advice, expertise, and analytical research to support and facilitate performance management, service planning and service improvement related initiatives throughout the People Directorate. You will act as the Council’s lead Officer for Ofsted inspections, meeting with Ofsted’s Analytical Officer to discuss issues about data quality, performance documents, the performance reporting process and the types and breadth of management information produced by the Council as part of the Ofsted Inspection.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background within a performance improvement environment with specific focus on Children’s Services (Children’s Social Care, Special Educational Needs, children and young people educational performance data) and will have experience of contributing to and the development and production of plans and strategies to support the delivery of service improvement.
