We have an exciting opportunity for an Activity Co-ordinator to join us at Madeline McKenna Care Home, Widnes, planning and delivering a wide and varied activities programme, designed with the residents individual needs and care plan in mind.
We are looking for a caring, hardworking, compassionate and dedicated individual who will positively support and encourage residents and their families to undertake activities which support their well-being, maximising their individual potential.
You will possess excellent communication skills and will have the ability to form appropriate relationships with a range of stakeholders to promote effective service delivery. You will also be responsible for organising external parties to visit to deliver activities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the most effective use of an activities budget to ensure a wide variety of activities are available to engage service users.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
This is a permanent part time post for 13 hours a week.
