Our Care Home Services at Madeline McKenna and Millbrow are looking to recruit three General Assistants working during the day on part time basis.

This role will involve completing cleaning and tidying duties and polishing furniture to the agreed standards. You will also support in maintaining hygiene and adhering to infection control procedures.

The service provides long term support to our residents and their families providing exceptional care and support to our service users. A person centred approach is taken to ensure privacy, dignity and choice for our services users.

2 x General Assistants Mill Brow – 15 hours per week - Salary £7,038

1 x General Assistant Madeline McKenna - 20 hours per week - Salary £9,386

We are looking for caring, hardworking, compassionate and dedicated individuals who ensure that support is provided to a high standard and in accordance with individual care and support plans.

We work within a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of professionals including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dieticians and Social Workers. You will have experience of domestic work as well as Health and Safety. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to effectively communicate with and listen to others.
