The Streetscene department is part of the Open Space Services, and is responsible for the management of the greenery, major route ways and highways in Halton.
As a service provider we aim to deliver a quality and professional service to our residents, businesses and visitors. We are therefore looking to appoint an experienced land based industry worker who is seeking a new opportunity.
As a Streetscene Worker you will undertake all aspects of manual work for the full range of services we provide, this will also include the operation of plant and equipment under the instruction of the team leader.
You should therefore have proven experience in a land based industry, a working horticultural knowledge, and be able to use horticultural and cleansing tools and machinery.You will be expected to carry out manual work and the operation of plant and equipment under the instruction of the Streetscene Team Leader.
Working Pattern for the role is 37hrs per week Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:00, Friday 08:00 –15:30, the role also requires you to work 4 days contractual overtime per year.If you feel that you have the right skills and experience for the post, as well as an eye for detail and a good approach to work and a positive attitude please apply.
