Are you a frontline manager or an experienced Social Worker who wishes to progress into management? If so, we would like to hear from you regarding joining our Child in Need Teams at Halton as a Practice Lead.

The Child in Need Teams are frontline operational teams responsible for assessing and meeting the needs of children with complex needs and compromised parenting. As a Practice Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting front line Social Workers within the team. This will include chairing meetings, holding regular supervisions, quality assuring assessments, assessing ASYE Social Workers and you will also have the opportunity to attend and represent the Child In Need teams at operational meetings such as MARAC and MAPPA.

You must be an experienced social worker or social work manager along with knowledge and understanding of working with the most vulnerable children in need who require intensive support and safeguarding. This post is subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Social Work England Registration.
